The new Posijet® of Lemer Pax is a real compendium of innovations for radiation protection and administration of radiopharmaceuticals in nuclear medicine. Following the release of the Easypet®, new automated preparation system of high energy radiopharmaceutical, installed in Versailles in May 2015, the development team Lemer Pax had the desire to provide a compact and mobile alternative integrating the latest innovations: The new Posijet®
World premiere at the EANM congress (European Association of Nuclear Medicine) in Hamburg in October 2015, the new Posijet®, with its clean lines and the functionalities, particularly adapted to user needs, has kept all its promises. Demonstrations have followed a steady pace to unveil to professionals the full extent of its potential. Its new design, its safety of use, its simplicity, its new technical features and customizable color range, were particularly noticed.
In addition, long-awaited new features that provide answers to the needs expressed by operators in nuclear medicine worldwide have been added. Economy: 100% of the mother solution is used.
A new feature allows measuring the mother solution by sampling to verify precisely the volumetric activity contained in the multidose vial, to adjust the data for purposes of clarification and to avoid any data entry errors. The possibility of diluting the vial provides more flexibility of work, optimizing the volumetric activity in accordance with the patient doses to prepare and facilitases the organization of the appointment scheduling.
Posijet® has all the qualities to be the ”PET Companion” of Nuclear Medicine departments.
Economy: 100% of the mother solution is used

Connectivity and intuitiveness
The addition of WiFi connectivity offers ergonomic use and a continuous communication link with the radiopharmacy software (RIS) of the market. No information is lost and double entry is no longer necessary.
The functional and intuitive computing environment specifically dedicated to this product allows a permanent support to the user and offers the possibility to know at every moment, the state of the Posijet® features. The software intelligently guides the user within the preparation and injection cycle and allows at any time to return to the previous step.
Autonomy and mobility
The optimization of its energy supply system ensures an autonomy of more than 8 hours without counting easy recharging possible at any time from the mains.
To ensure better ergonomics, Posijet® has a motorized assistances, which enables quick and easy mobility.
With Posijet®, Lemer Pax is the first company worldwide to have developed a mobile unit for the preparation and injection of high energy radiopharmaceutical .
Ergonomics
Regarding injection, two choices are available: manual or automatic mode, which takes into account the injection sites, the quality of the caliber of the veins and the catheters used. Thus, the operator can safely choose the injection mode best suited to the patient safely.
Reliability and accuracy
The introduction of a specific security system also allows controlling the injection cycle (speed and pressure) to ensure the correct ongoing.
Posijet® has a COFRAC calibrated dose calibrator (ISO 17025) to comply with the regulations. It meets the required standards and enables particularly the achievement of quality controls needed for reliability of the measured dose.
The software can also manage multiple parameters, such as those related to the dosage (MBq / kg or MBq / cm²) to follow instructions required by the imaging device but also to outlaw overdosing or input error. The security of its systems and its injection parameters and precision, allows Posijet®to be certified for pediatric examinations for young children.
Tele assistance
To allow continued use, Lemer Pax implemented tools available to users. If necessary a remote of the machine takeover is proposed in particular to allow the Lemer Pax team of experts to take real-time handling.
Radiation protection
Radiation protection remains a key strength of Posijet® and respects the regulatory dose rate in contact with a maximum dose rate of 25 Sv / h allowing users to remain present with the patient throughout the duration of the injection. While remaining within this limit, the Posijet® can be loaded with 92.5 GBq (2,5ci) F18 in its Posisafe®.
