DESCRIPTION

The Shellbox carrier case from the STOP MSD range has been specially designed to facilitate the transport of patient doses, thanks to its highly optimised weight. This new shielded case is used to transfer patient doses from the radiopharmaceutical preparation laboratory to the injection boxes and rooms, and also to the SPECT examination rooms for dynamic imaging examinations in Nuclear Medicine.

Light and secure with Shellbox: goodbye to MSDs

With its shielding positioned as close as possible to the source, this lightweight case can carry radioelements of varying energies, such as 99mTc, 111In and 201Tl.

The axial ends, where the needle and plunger of the syringe are located (not protected by the syringe shield) held inside the case, are doubled in shielding thickness to guarantee consistent radiation protection for the user throughout the transport of the radioactive dose.

A special magnetic system has been developed to allow the case to be opened partially or fully.

To make work easier for users, the identification of the various radioactive syringes in the department is facilitated by a flexible closure system in different colours that can be positioned on the case. In this way, errors involving the substitution of radiopharmaceutical drugs are avoided. The choice of ABS and silicone coating on the Shellbox case makes it highly resistant to knocks and falls. It ensures it is perfectly watertight and easy to decontaminate, even when completely immersed.

The Shellbox® carrier case meets the highest regulatory standards, is approved for sale on the US market and can be locked.

With the Shellbox®, Lemer Pax is committed to preventing MusculoSkeletal Disorders with its new range: STOP MSD. Our teams imagine, design and offer products with the sole aim of ensuring operator safety combined with optimum comfort of use.

The new STOP MSD range is designed to be as comfortable as possible to use, and is extremely lightweight, eliminating much of the strain on the wrists and shoulders and reducing the risk of injury from repetitive movements and constraining postures.

This means you can concentrate on what’s most important: precise movements and patient safety.
