“For more than 10 months, Epijet® has been used on 23 patients with refractory epilepsy in the epilepsy and nuclear medicine units of the Hospital Clinic de Barcelona, Spain. The results are very encouraging: in average, we inject the full volume of perfusion radiotracer (3-8 mL) in 3.5 sec. on average (2-6 sec.). Moreover, the implementation and the preparation of the device is very easy for the operators who appreciate the possibility to inject from the control room, respecting patient privacy and optimizing the operator’s radiation protection.”
